Unfortunately, live Christmas trees will not be available to purchase at IKEA Canada stores this holiday season. We know live trees have been a much-loved tradition for IKEA and our customers over many years and we sincerely apologize.

IKEA Coquitlam welcomes customers to safely shop in-store. Here's what you need to know before visiting the store:

Enter the store from Woolridge St or Lougheed Highway. Oversized vehicles, please enter via Lougheed Highway to park in the uncovered perimeter parking lot.

  • IKEA Coquitlam has added an External Furniture Pick-up Warehouse to provide you with an improved shopping experience and greater product availability.

    Please note that all kitchens and other select furniture will need to be picked up at the external warehouse after making the purchase from the store. The warehouse is located within a short drive from the store.

Click & Collect

You can shop for it in store – but you don't have to

Contactless Click and collect service is available at select pick-up locations nationwide. Starting at $5, you can place an order online and collect it from your local IKEA store or an external Collection Point.

Here's how you do it:

Step 1: Choose 'Click and collect' at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Collection Point, operated by a third-party partner.

Step 2: Wait until you receive the "Ready for pickup" email before heading to the store.

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or collection point. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.

Step 1: Please proceed to the upper deck parking lot upon arrival (see directional map below)

Step 2:

a) To pick up your order in store, please enter through the Click and Collect doors on the upper deck parking lot.

b) For curbside service, please park in one of the designated parking spots at the end of the lot and check in by following the link in the confirmation email. If you cannot access it, please follow the instructions on the parking signs.

Can't take your furniture with you? We'll deliver it to your home or workplace. Truck delivery starting at $39.

Parcel delivery: Delivery left at your front door. Ideal for smaller home decoration & accessory orders.

Doorstep delivery: Delivery left at your front door. Ideal for smaller furniture orders that you can easily bring into your household yourself.

In-home delivery: Delivery into the entryway of your household. Ideal for larger furniture deliveries that cannot be left at your doorstep.

Get a head start on your return and save time in store. Using this online form, add the products for return and the information requested. Once complete, you will receive a barcode via SMS and e-mail* that you will show the co-worker at the Returns desk when you arrive in store to assist with a quick return process.

Latest News: IKEA Coquitlam donates over 1500 home kits to local organizations.

At IKEA, we believe in creating a better every day life for the many people, and that is even more important now during these unpredented times. IKEA Coquitlam co-workers have continued to support and give back to the local communtiy, creating 1500 home kits for immigrants and newcomers to Canada. From kitchen kits, bath kits, and kids kits, we turned the store into a sea of blue FRAKTA bags for the community. We were also able to donate over 1000 duvets and pillows to the Salvation Army to distribute within their networks. We thank our partners for continuing to show up and supporting our most vulnerable communities.

IKEA Canada receives a high volume of requests every week to support various worthwhile projects. At IKEA, having a positive impact on people and the planet is an essential part of our business. Furniture, clothing and electronics donation drive, Saturday, November 27, 10am-4pm
On Saturday, November 27, from 10am - 4pm, we are partnering with three local organizations to support giving items a second life. As a thank you for your action, you will receive a coupon worth $25 off purchases of $150 or more (valid until December 4) while coupon quantities last.

  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be accepting gently used furniture donations at their Burnaby location, 7977 Enterprise St. Please note, furniture will not be accepted at the IKEA Coquitlam store, only the ReStore.
  • Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver will be on site to collect acceptable clothing donations. Donating gently used clothing supports Big Brothers and their youth programs.
  • EPRA/Recycle my Electronics will also be on site accepting used electronics, helping divert e-waste from Canadian landfills by redirecting recycled resources back into the supply chain, or responsibly and safely disposing of it.
